The data sheet matters as much as the seal
A seal describes the material or process; the technical data sheet describes the exact reference you are buying: dimensions, intended use, grease and moisture resistance, and storage conditions.
Always request the data sheet and check that any seal you are shown applies to the reference and supplier you are evaluating.
What to ask your supplier
